By accessing or using CertWatch, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not use our service.
2. Description of Service
CertWatch provides SSL certificate monitoring services, including:
- Monitoring SSL certificate expiry dates
- Sending alerts before certificates expire
- Providing certificate health dashboards
- Team collaboration features
We do not guarantee 100% uptime or detection rate. Service is provided "as is".
3. Account Registration
To use our service, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities under your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
4.1 Pricing
Prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice.
4.2 Billing Cycle
Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through your account settings.
4.3 Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. Refunds are not available for partial months.
4.4 Free Trial
If offered, free trials require a valid payment method. You will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal purposes
- Monitor URLs without authorization
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our service
- Use bots or automated systems to access our API without permission
- Share accounts to avoid paying for multiple users
- Monitor more endpoints than your plan allows
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of CertWatch is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described.
6.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of any data you provide. You grant us a license to use this data to provide the service.
6.2 Certificate Data
SSL certificate information (issuer, expiry dates, etc.) is public data. We may aggregate and anonymize this data for statistical purposes.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in CertWatch (including software, trademarks, and content) are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the service ends immediately
- You must pay any outstanding fees
- We will delete your data within 30 days (backups may persist longer)
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Slovenia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
Before filing any claim, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting support@certwatch.dev.
12.3 Arbitration (Mandatory for Some Countries)
For EU customers, disputes may be referred to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, war, strikes, etc.).
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
